Carp Slam  Schedule

Friday 9/22/2017  7:30PM Beat and Partner Draw – Carp Slam kickoff 

UPSTAIRS at The SKYLARK LOUNGE    140 S Broadway, Denver, CO 80209

The board should meet at 7:00. Kickoff, Partner & Beat Draw start at 7:30PM.

Parking Entrance to the Skylark is on Broadway. PLEASE do not drive your hummer through the front door. It’s been done.  We can park across the street immediately North, in the Maple Garage area and on-street parking.

7:30 PM– Kick-off, orientation, guzzling, back slapping, and well wishing.

Saturday 9/23/2017     THE WORLD FAMOUS  CARP SLAM

6:30 AM- Kick-Off. Controllers and Sector Judges at the LAUNCH Location. Check and briefing from Reid Baker, Carp Slam  Ops Manager and Hayes Lenhart Volunteer Wrangler.

7:00 – 8:00 AM- Registration of competitors and Swag distribution. Meeting with controllers and competitors to review rules. Maps and directions will be distributed. Coffee and bagels will be available.
8.00 – 8:30 AM – Travel to morning beats, rig up, scout beats. Controllers send test text messages to Carp Slam Central Scoring.
9:00 AM- Start morning fishing.
12 :00 Noon – End morning session, return to Fuel
12:00 – 1:30 PM- LUNCH -back at Black Black Coffee, Controllers & Competitors check team AM scores.
1:30 – 2 PM- Travel to afternoon beats, rig up and scout beats.
2:15 PM- Start afternoon fishing.
5:15 PM- End afternoon session. Controllers must return  scorecards, cradle, tape measure, & clipboards to the drop off point identified at the morning kickoff  . Controllers must check and verify posted team score. VERY CRITICAL. Drones will be sent to track you down.

6-7 PM Volunteers and Competitors will receive a fully catered meal in the VIP area of the Party.

Food, beer, music, beer, wine, auction and awards.  Each registered volunteer and competitor will receive free admission to the evening party. Volunteers can purchase  tickets for friends and family. Friends and family may purchase tickets online in advance for a discount or at the door.
